$1.2 Million Reached in Car Accident Settlement

A driver crossed the center line of the road and collided with another vehicle, killing the 89-year-old driver and resulting in a $1.2 million settlement.

The 89-year-old man was driving east on Matthew Mill Road in Green County. The defendant’s vehicle was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and collided with the decedent’s vehicle. The 89-year-old man died at the scene after suffering blunt trauma to the head and chest.

His statutory beneficiaries included four children.
